Emmanuel O. Boakye is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience in the Corporate, Financial, and Capital Markets sectors in Ghana. He is currently pursuing an MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, further honing his leadership and strategic management skills.

Before joining MIT, Emmanuel served as the Head of Syndications and Capital Markets at Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited (CBG). In this role, he was instrumental in establishing the department from the ground up, quickly building a significant transaction pipeline totaling approximately GHS 6.2 billion (USD 880 million) during his tenor of office. His leadership at CBG was marked by several high-impact achievements, including successfully advising and raising funds for Kasapreko Company Ltd on the Ghana Fixed Income Market and structuring the largest power sector deal of approximately GHS 1.0 billion. Additionally, he led efforts in post-COVID restructuring and fundraising for major players in the tourism sector and contributed to the restructuring of the COCOBOD note program.

Prior to his tenure at CBG, Emmanuel was a Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial and Capital Markets Division at Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited. There, he played a key role in the setup and execution of the GHS 5.2 billion (USD 900 million) Contractor IPC Discounting Programme for the Government of Ghana. He was also part of the team that successfully raised USD 3 billion through the 2020 Eurobond Programme, which was nearly 7x oversubscribed.

Emmanuel's earlier career included pivotal roles at the Cal Bank Group, where he led the Research Department at Cal Brokers. In recognition of his contributions to the financial sector, Emmanuel was awarded the Research Analyst of the Year and Young Most Promising Investment Banking Professional in 2016 by the Ghana Securities & Investment Industry Awards. His extensive experience and proven track record make him a valuable leader in the fields of debt capital markets, corporate banking, and financial advisory services.
