Dr. Suzy Aku Puplampu is an experienced financial advisor dedicated to helping individuals, families, and institutions achieve their financial goals through personalized financial planning and investment strategies. Currently serving as an Associate Wealth Manager with Devere Ghana (of Devere Group), she provides financial advice on varied international wealth management solutions. She executes this by leading personal conversations with individuals on their wealth creation, wealth management, and wealth transfer desires through financial advice and planning.

As the lead for OctaneDC Limited, a fund management business in the past two decades, she has built the needed skills in financial analysis & planning, investment management, retirement planning, risk management through insurance, tax-efficient strategies, and estate planning through managing individuals and institutional portfolios.

With two decades of practice under regulation in the finance and investment space, she is recognized as one of the leaders making significant contributions to the savings, investment, and wealth creation & management conversation within the Investment and finance industry in Ghana. She teaches investment and wealth management, educate on financial literacy, and assist individuals in planning and executing their financial plans through education & retirement planning and relevant investment products. No matter the stage in the life of any individual, there are financial solutions for everyone. Consequently, she is passionate about holding the hands of individuals to travel through their financial journeys.

Dr. Suzy is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI-UK) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (FCCA-UK). She holds a DBA in Wealth Management from Walden University (USA) and an MBA in Finance with a first degree in Economics and Sociology from Ghana.

For her corporate governance roles, she serves on the boards of the African Visionary Fund (AVF-USA), chair its Finance Committee, and also serves as a member of the Grantmaking Committee. In 2023, AVF nominated her to the ‘The Roddenberry Foundation (USA) to help shortlist women-led interventions across Africa for a grant from their +1globalfund. An engagement that has led to two female-led businesses in sub-Saharan Africa to receive funding. Further, she serves on the board of the Cocobod Pension and Provident Funds as the Independent Trustee and chairs its Investment Committee. Within the past year, she was appointed the co-chair of the DVLA Pension and Provident Funds Board. In addition, she serves on the board of GreenPark Properties Limited.

For her speaking engagements, Suzy’s passion for sharing knowledge through writing and speaking has earned her numerous invitations as a speaker at several corporate and social events as well as to media organizations. As a Toastmaster at heart, she aims to be an accomplished public speaker and provide business, team, and board leads having built effective leadership skills through experience, practice, and networking.

In September 2023, Suzy authored and published her first book titled – Woven – A Story of a Little Girl’s Blossom.
