Kizito Seddoh leads Absa Bank Ghana’s Debt Capital Markets business, as well as broader Investment Banking origination efforts spanning loans syndication and distribution, and Mergers & Acquisitions / Financial Advisory. His mandate to lead the design, structuring and execution of alternative funding solutions to the Sovereign and corporates in the Ghanaian market. In addition, collaborating with Absa’s securities business in Lagos, Nigeria, he provides execution support into the West Africa sub-region.
Prior to joining Absa, he worked with Stanbic Bank Ghana for over 10 years where he was Head of Debt Capital Markets and Loan Syndications & Distribution (Vice President). His primary responsibility was originating and executing debt capital markets-type transactions for the Sovereign and local corporates including multicurrency notes/bonds, Commercial Paper and Eurobonds, syndicated/club loan deals, and providing timely loan market advice to all the debt product areas within Corporate & Investment Banking including Mining Energy and Infrastructure, Corporate Financing Solutions, Real Estate Finance, Short-Term Financing and Working Capital solutions. Prior to assuming DCM and Distribution responsibilities, he supported the execution of landmark transactions across the investment banking product spectrum including Term Lending, Real Estate Finance, DCM, Financial Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions. Kizito holds an MBA, Finance and a BSc, Business Administration 1st Class Honours (Accounting) from the University of Ghana.
